Aquarius MPM Snow parameters comparison

Snow Material Node add snow material data to the emitter particles.

Input / Emitter Particles:
Input emitter for simulation. You must connect this input for work.

Output / Simulation Data:
output result simulation data.

Surface Width:
Defines width(thickness) of surface area.

Snow Density Surface/Inside:
Defines density of snow surface/inside.

use Density Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

Density Map Var:
Defines density variation of snow by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

Poisson’s ratio Surface/Inside:
Defines material of the snow surface/inside area. Smaller value get more brittle. Larger value get more ductile.

use Poisson Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

Poisson Map Var:
Defines poisson’s ratio variation by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

Young’s Module Surface/Inside:
Defines material of the snow surface/inside area. Smaller value get more powdery. Larger value get more chunky.

use Young Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

Young Map Var:
Defines young’s module variation by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

Hardening Coeff Surface/Inside:
Defines material of the snow surface/inside area. Smaller value get more dry. Larger value get more wet.

use Hardening Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

Hardening Map Var:
Defines Hardening Coeff variation by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

compression Surface/Inside:
Defines material of the snow surface/inside area. Smaller value get more chunky. Larger value get more powdery.

use comp Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

comp Map Var:
Defines compression variation by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

stretch Surface/Inside:
Defines material of the snow surface/inside area. Smaller value get more powdery. Larger value get more chunky.

use stretch Map:
When checked, use texture variation.

stretch Map Var:
Defines stretch variation by texture map(Black = 0.0 / White = value).

Texture Map:
When expose switch and connect map helper, multiply map intensity to snow material.
And select map type “2D map” or “3D map”. For 2D map, you need to have UVW channel on input.
